Listed below are links to weblogs that reference Modern dillema: to tumble dry or not?:

All very well if you're mainly drying marimekko/cath kidston teatowels and vintage postcard print scarves, however I doubt my boyfriend's threadbare gruds would look quite so chic. Maybe some things are best tumble-dried and hurridly shoved back in the closet.

True, in an ideal world we would all have the time and space to don a 1950's headscarf and peg out colour co-ordinated rows of smalls, but sometimes real life gets in the way!!

Thanks for featuring our shop!

We tend not to use the tumble dry option on our washer/dryer. We've got this drying rack that we use constantly use - especially in the winter when it's often not an option to hang them outdoors!

Any savings we can make on the ever increasing gas bill! ;o)

That is SO nice, can we feature your kitchen on the Womens Room. We LOVE it?

Hi Jane,

Of course you can - are you able to see the other images in the folder?

I am not sure why but the old fashioned wooden fold-out dryers are called maidens -- or is that just a term signature to my mum, as in " Hang those blankets on the maiden please Susan"
