For us there was really only one collection that we absoloutley loved at Milan Fashion week and that was Jil Sander. Designed by Raf Simons, the super bright colours in cleverly cut, yet understated shapes, summed up everything we would love to be wearing next Spring Summer. The almost neon colours were worn either as one colour head to toe, or as colour blocks in indvidual garments.
I also loved the super bright lipstick, sorry Sonia Juttla, I know it can be aging, but I think it looks fabulous and will be wearing bright pink, orange and red - but all at once - that would be too much!

Browsing through some of my favourite blogs as a distraction from catwalk analysis (for the day job), I came across some amazing examples of older women wearing bright colours on the brilliant Advanced Style. If they can wear colours that bright and look so great, then so can we.
Go on, you know you want to!!

I don't really do bright colours but I love that Jil Sander outfit.

I totally agree with you - I have long been a fan of bright colours - much to many people's amusement I think - but I love it, much more interesting that black or taupe - or whatever one calls that boring shade of beige !!!
