Oh my goodness, the cup on the front of the Scandilicious book is from Crown Devon's 'Stockholm' range. How do I know that? When my parents got married in '53 they had £20 to buy crockery and bought this service! Their set was the red colourway, but I've never seen a blue one before - do you think they photoshopped it to look better with the cherries? Most of the set survived well into the early 80's when they replaced it with a better quality, and I was packed off to college with the 'reindeer set'. I loved it so much I added to it and in the attic today still have many vases, cruet sets, plates, cups and jugs.....

There are a lot of things I've learned from Nordic Bakery cookbook like how to create a delicious pastries using some common ingredients and to make a pasta out of left over foods.

Basketball Sneakers

It was always verging on the side of hippydom which suited me just fine.. I need to add to my ramblings above that Sue always always looks amazing in her clothes, my comments on her net/cashmere/gold 'do' not do her justice, she is a true style icon..thanks for the blog..
