I totally agree, I love the whole understated-ness of Margaret Howell, I aspire to having that quiet, simple style but my life seems to insist on being chaotic and cluttered.


It's almost (but not quite) enough to linger in one of her stores - but then I must admit I head to Cos or Uniglo as I cannot get my head around £200 for a white cotton shirt. As soon as I can - I'll be buying it - and the house in Suffolk too!


I know what you mean Cassandra, I go into the shop sometimes just to make me feel calm and always leave without buying anything. Her sample sales are good though. We'll post the date of the next one.
