The internet is changing the way we do almost everything, including cooking. It's so easy to Google a recipe, one wonders about the future of the cook book. I recently bought an iPad and find it indispensable in the kitchen and just the right size to view a recipe, although I'm still a huge fan of cookery books
I came across this lovely recipe and video on the Tiger In A Jar Blog recently and was transfixed by the beautiful colours and atmospheric filming. Despite the fact I really don't like beetroots, I'm very tempted to make this cake.
In the same way clever fashion companies are using film to showcase their brands, perhaps this is the way forward for food writing.
Genius, surely the way forward? I'm off to plant beetroot in the veg patch now.Ax

Cake aside, I just want to be able to make a video as beautiful as this! Sarah

I love the video, the drama of making a cake. Your cake turned out to be really lovely as well.
